Volunteer Projects
Our guild members actively support Project Linus, a nationwide movement to provide security through blankets to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need.
We are also busily making blocks for Quilts of Valor (QOV). The mission of the QOV Foundation is to cover all combat wounded and injured servicemembers with handmade quilts. Some time in early 2008, we plan to collect all the blocks together and create a set of quiilts to donate to the QOV Foundation.
Several times a year, we collect household products and donate them to the non-profit organization, Services to Abused Families, Inc. (SAFE) in Culpeper.
