Dara Silverman is a consultant, organizer and trainer who has worked to build movements for economic, racial and gender justice over the past 15 years. She was the Executive Director of Jews for Racial and Economic Justice (JFREJ) from 2004-2009. Prior to her work at JFREJ, Dara worked with United for a Fair Economy, Neighbor to Neighbor, the Ruckus Society and on various local and national campaigns across the country. Dara is on the board of Resource Generation. Her work has been published or featured in the New York Times, Tikkun, Zeek, Heeb, Curve, the San Francisco Bay Guardian and Righteous Indignation: A Jewish Call for Justice and co-authored The Love and Justice in Times of War Haggadah.
Shaun (Sha) Grogan-Brown has worked to strengthen movements for social justice as an organizer, artist, trainer and consultant since the late 90s. He worked on staff with Committee In Solidarity with the People of El Salvador (CISPES) from 2001-2008 where, as Development Director, Sha coordinated four major grassroots fundraising programs constituting over 90% of the budget. He supports many organizations through trainings on grassroots fundraising and organizational development, graphic design, materials layout, oral and written Spanish-English translation, art workshops, database and web programming. He is also a teaching artist with Pyramid Atlantic Arts Center.
